Environmental Factors

“In what way can Powerwall help the Environment”?

Our Objectives:  “To surpass current legislative guidance and become market leaders in the off-site construction industry, providing cutting-edge, energy-efficient buildings with low demand on energy usage, improved acoustic and fire qualities and kind to the environment through their sustainability”

Environmental and sustainability factors are becoming increasingly more important in all aspects of modern building design and Powerwall’s Volumetric System tackles all of these fundamental issues.

Better building performance – Factory production means buildings are manufactured to very accurate tolerances. Test experience has demonstrated that factory produced building techniques perform up to 70% better than traditional building methods. This means exceptional energy efficiency performance, reduced carbon emissions and lower life time running costs.

Embodied Energy – Up to 67% less energy is required to produce the Powerwall Space Frame System compared to an equivalent traditionally built project.

Reduced Energy Consumption – Through the increased thermal performance and excellent air-tightness of the various Powerwall Building Systems, the buildings require, on average, 71% less fuel energy.

Ozone-friendly materials – The insulation materials used in the walls, roof and floor of Powerwall Volumetric Buildings have an ODP (Ozone Depleting Potential) of zero – minimising their impact on the environment.

More than 60% – of waste is recycled in the production centre, and the cost of waste sent to landfill has been reduced by more than 50% over the last three years.
