Powerwall will expand their global footprint through a technology licence model. We will achieve this through a partnership approach with our licensees by providing;
- Ongoing support from our technical and commercial team
- Access to new technical advances in our systems and processes
- Sharing business leads and referrals
- Access to a network of manufacturing capacity
The broad structure of the license will be through strategic partnership with construction companies and developers. The granting of the license will allow the partner organisation to manufacture and market the product in a defined territory using Powewall’s patented technology, know how and intellectual property.
The core technology and know-how is provided directly by Powerwall technical team with full installation, training and sign-off on the Licensee site. The team at Powerwall will provide high level of ongoing technical and commercial support to their Licensees.
The Powerwall system utilises materials which are already widely used in within the construction sector. The specific patented elements such as connectors and honeycomb panel are provided to the licensee and form part of the license agreement. Powerwall will not compromise on our high standards and therefore the use of sub-standard materials or practices which impact on our global brand would be a breach of our agreed license model.
There will also be assistance if required to support the licensees to establish the critical supply chain and to allow the sourcing of key materials. We adopt an ongoing partnership approach to support the sourcing and verification of new materials.
Our technical team will provide fully verified structural calculations for each project and can provide additional support to specify and price a design quickly for projects which may require some additional input due to complexity or innovative design solutions.
Powerwall will offer partners/licensee training and support in the implementation of the Volumetric System- allowing our partners to minimise the set up time for full production and the establishment of supply chain systems and processes.
Training fees are included in your license fee. The training is normally delivered in the licensee market territory. We can also look at utilising other licensee factories to support additional learning opportunities or convenience factors. This may allow additional best practice sharing of knowledge and experience and will be subject to highly sensitive issues of completion and commercial confidence.
Our license partnership model supports the sharing of market and technical intelligence with our licensees, increasing opportunities to develop sales leads and secure commercial contracts.
