In recent years the timber frame industry has been under serious pressure concerning the
thermal efficiency of their products. This has seen the standard thickness of timber kit
walls rise from a 90mm stud to 145mm stud.
The increase in thickness of timber supports has resulted inan increase in cost. Powerwall
have a solution that not only meets today’s regulations but surpasses them by up to a
staggering 34%.
Our solution is simple. By eliminating heat loss through the timber studs with the
introduction of a high density mineral wool board and our uniquely designed drainable
honeycomb panel we achieve significantly improved U-Values.
The system is secured to the exterior of the timber kit and finished with a render or brick
slip finish allowing timber kits to return their original 90mm stud, thus reducing costs.
